Let’s talk about Cinque Terre.
First of all, if you’ve never been to the Cinque Terre, drop whatever you’re doing – including reading yours truly – and book your flight immediately. Go ahead! Take your time, I’ll be here waiting.
Arguably Italy’s most charming stretch of coastline, Cinque Terre is a postcard-perfect collection of 5 fishing villages nestled in the mountains along the Ligurian Sea. This place is a lot of things, one of those things is really, really pretty, and therefore deserves at least a spot on your must-see-before-you-die bucket list.
I think it’s safe to say that Israel is very much not on the average traveler’s radar. This is not surprising, though, as Israel is definitely not your average travel destination.
It is perceived to be a tricky country to traverse, and as a visitor, there are several things that you might want to look into before you arrive. But does this mean you should avoid traveling to Israel? Not at all.
Awesome beaches and great weather? Check. Beautiful surrounding landscape? Check. Food to die for? Check. Rich local culture and traditions? Check. Serious party potential? You bet. Tel Aviv really has it all.
This incredible melting pot of cultural diversity, ethnic richness and different world-views gives the perfect opportunity to combine a city break with a spot of fun or relaxation on the Mediterranean.
Italy is a traveler’s dream, with stimulating culture, world-famous cuisine, sun drenched beaches, vibrant cities and peaceful countryside all tightly contained in a tiny little boot-shaped peninsula (+ islands!).
Traveling through the Bel Paese can be a very rewarding experience, but it does not come without its share of challenges. However, with the right expectations and a little preparation, Italy is awesome (full disclosure here – I am Italian, therefore I may be biased!)
So you’re planning a trip to Amsterdam, or A’dam as the locals like to call it. You’ve done a bit of research beforehand, you’ve booked your hotel, you’ve booked your flights. If you’re a really good planner, you’ve even mapped out your itinerary of the must-see sights (you didn’t? Click here).
But how well do you think you know Amsterdam? Test yourself to see if you do! I’ve put together 10 fun facts about Amsterdam that maybe you didn’t know yet:
Is it possible to explore Amsterdam in 5 days? Yes!

I think most people don’t expect to find that many cool things to do in Amsterdam, making it all about sex-museums and coffee shops. Short story: it’s not. Amsterdam is sensational and there’s a lot more to the city. But you’ll see what I’m talking about!
After a few days in Amsterdam, a day trip to Zaanse Schans can provide a much-needed break from urban buzz. I can’t deny it, this place is shamelessly touristy, but it’s the perfect place to escape the bustle of the city and discover Dutch picturesque countryside, renowned for its authentic atmosphere and, of course, for its iconic series of working windmills.
Amsterdam certainly has a reputation that precedes it, and for many backpackers, the city begins and ends in a coffee shop — that couldn’t be more wrong, you really need to get out and explore! In Amsterdam museums should take the spotlight, featuring historical...
You can’t possibly expect to experience Amsterdam like a local without getting on two wheels. The good news is that Amsterdam is pancake-flat and it’s filled with cycle tracks. The bad news is cycling in Amsterdam is not as easy an activity as the Dutch make it look!...
With a landscape speckled by charming little towns, lush green gardens, and clear waters stretching off into the distance, Lake Como provides the quintessential Italian weekend getaway. Here, the Mediterranean warmth of the cypress, chestnut, and palm trees mix with...
