Hello there, so nice of you to stop by! Welcome to my travel blog, Green and Turquoise.

Why don’t you grab a cup of coffee (or a glass of sauv blanc – whatever works for you) and get comfy in your chair?

Let’s get to know each other a little better!

Green and Turquoise Travel Blog

I’m Andrea, and this is my travel blog (duh). I’m a twenty-something travel junkie from Italy currently studying in Milan. The great loves of my life are science, travel and food, but I  have also a thing for contemporary architecture, modern art museums, night-time cityscapes and white-sand beaches — but then who doesn’t? I’m also obsessed with collecting maps from all the places I’ve been too.

Traveling has been a major passion for me ever since I was little. If I’m not on my way to a new journey, you’ll find me thinking, talking or dreaming about a new trip. It actually makes me anxious if I don’t know where I’m going next. So far, I have been to over 50 countries. Still, many more to go.

I started my blog Green & Turquoise in 2014 to share stories about my adventures and so I can connect with others with a similar mindset. My aim to inspire YOU to travel more often, to seek for new adventures, to meet new people that will change your life forever.

The point is that you don’t need to quit the job you love, you don’t need to give up your career or goals – what the heck, you don’t even need to be rich. All you need is weekends, public holidays, and a sense of adventure.

I mostly write about my personal experiences and humorous stories, as well as share travel tips to make the most of your holiday. You can follow Green and Turquoise on Facebook and GooglePlus and my adventures on Instagram and Twitter too.

Well…I’ve got to run! Very busy, people to see, places to go, things to do (aka food to eat). Now browse around and make yourself at home!
